My car was wrecked over a week ago by the shop after they replaced a transmission and did $2200 in work. I’ve been trying to reach Stephanie for over a WEEK now multiple calls and emails. This is ridiculous I don’t want to contact an attorney but what other choice do I have ?
I am very disappointed with Westfield. I filed a claim almost a year ago and have had nothing but problems getting ahold of my agent. I have called, left messages and emailed. I rarely get a response and when I do she says she needs more of the same information I've already sent. When I asked for a supervisor I was given the number of a man who no longer works in that department. Absolutely terrible customer service. I have never in my life filed a claim, but this has been awful.
I was hit by one of their clients over two months ago. Police report clearly states the accident which involved 4 cars was clearly her fault. I drive a 2021 Audi and she hit me starting at one end to the other and then she hit another car. They have made me drive my car with cold air and rain blowing in for 2 months and then finally said ok we completed our investigation and we are going to issue you a check for $5,000 and you have the responsibility to go haggle with a repair shop to try and fix your car for that price. I am not joking I have it in email. I Informed her I would be taking my car to a authorized Audi Collision repair shop and she said no way would they allow me to do that! I also asked why they would not give me a rental car and are making me drive around my car with cold air and rain coming in and they said if I had a problem with it then go have my insurance fix it. We have asked to speak with her supervisor and she refuses to let us do that so we contacted a lawyer today. They have bullied and shamed me from the get go and the whole reason I was even in WV was to visit my dying father who since passed away. I will go on every website and news channel that will listen to get justice for my family and all those others out there who have treated the way we have.
The people at Westfield Insurance are awesome. Adjusters like Collin Reynolds who went the extra mile helping his insured settle a claim quickly are sometimes the untold heroes of the insurance industry. I work at another insurance company and it is so easy to call and get information but A LOT of adjusters don't actively work their desk. I like to see claims settled quickly and issues resolved as an insurance agent. I saw Collin take notes on every detail on the call in one swoop and politely explain the situation. Its nice to know that Westfield, a carrier I don't work with, seeks to adjudicate claims the correct manner and fairly. Sometimes stuff happens and that's why you have insurance! Having a helpful adjuster wade into the policies and find coverage for injured parties is everything. Thanks again Collin!
Horrible company. Once my car coverage ends, I am changing carriers AGAIN. Had my previous carrier 15 years without a hiccup.. I've had Westfield ONE year and they're awful to deal with JUST TO PAY THE PREMIUM! Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE company! If this is how they are to pay an ANNUAL premium, I wouldn't want to know how much I could expect to be jerked around should I ever have a claim.
Watch out for this company. Payment on checks that are not able to cashed at their bank that issues them. What a bad company policy. Chase Bank who is the company bank. Said that they have their account set up so you can't cash a check issued from them. Just so wrong if I sent someone a check that not able to cash I would have problem.
Have had to have damage claims settled, used towing services and rental car services. The claim settlements are always a simple process. We have never had any issues with any of the services. Our rates have never went up because of a claim. We always receive exceptional customer service and have reasonable rates.
I was hit by a Westfield Insurance client, my car totaled and I was transported to a local hospital. The Westfield client was cited at the scene. Westfield and their client then dragged their feet for over 50 days while I was without a car, before they decided to do anything. Then they had the gall to threaten me, saying they would not cover much of my claim. We are not talking about a huge sum of money either. I am a disabled vet on a fixed income and they are treating me like garbage. I am not sure how they remain in business.
